Gale Street Inn
The Gale Street Inn is easily located at 4914 N MILWAUKEE AVE. in Chicago IL. We are a block north of Lawrence Ave., and directly across from the Jefferson Park Commuter Station. Jefferson Park is a stop along the CTA Blue Line as well as a stop along the METRA northwest rail line.


Free parking is available in the TCF Bank parking lot immediately North of our building.  Please feel free to park anywhere in the lot, our guests will not be towed.

From  NW Suburbs/ O'Hare

Come into the City on the Kennedy Expressway (90 East) and exit at Lawrence Ave. Turn right (west) on Lawrence Ave. and proceed to the next light which is Milwaukee Ave. Turn right (north) and the restaurant will be 2 blocks down on your left.

From North Suburbs

Eden's Expressway to the Cicero Ave. exit and proceed to the
next light at Foster Ave. Turn right (west) to Milwaukee Ave. A left
(south) turn on Milwaukee Ave. and the restaurant will be 4 blocks
down on your right.

From Downtown Chicago

The Lawrence Ave ramps (entrance and exit) on the east side of westbound 90 are still closed. If you are coming from downtown, consider exiting the Kennedy earlier at Montrose or Wilson Ave and come west to Milwaukee. Exiting Wilson make a left straight through Cicero and under the viaduct will bring you around to Lawrence take a left and come down to Milwaukee and make a right.. You can also pass the Lawrence exit and take the next (Central) and double back to us by making a right on Northwest Highway which will run you into Milwaukee.
